John just thinking is a reservoir of my thoughts and conclusions on a variety of topics, mostly of philosophical, political, or social importance. Essays will be of differing subjects, lengths, and frequency. They are meant to share thoughts, not to begin dialogue. If, however, they do chance to stimulate ideas by others, especially thoughts that challenge previous beliefs and opinions, more the better.
My intention is neither to be antagonistic nor iconoclastic, but simply to follow wherever careful thought leads me. For that, I claim no certitude, just a commitment to integrity and candor.
Here’s the way this works. You can visit johnjustthinking.com anytime you wish; maybe there’ll be a new post, maybe not. But if you’d like to avoid having to remember, click on “follow” (you’ll find it on this and other pages). When you give your email address, a mysterious cyber process will ask you to confirm that it isn’t just a big mistake, and you’ll be henceforth notified of new postings. There is no fee and you can cancel any time. Each blog post since the blog’s inception has directed comments to a dedicated email address, johnjustkeeping.com. However, as of October 2014 comments can be registered on each post.
